Recap: Millennium Lions vs. Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals
The Millennium Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 17th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 82-47 loss at the hands of Triad Math and Science Academy. Millennium has not had much luck with Triad Math and Science Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Millennium still got an impressive performance from Aryan Hira, who scored 31 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 66% of Millennium's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Millennium dropped their record down to 1-17 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millennium will stay at home for another game and welcome Cornerstone Charter at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Millennium has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. Leadership Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.7 points per game this season.
