Soccer Preview: Canyon Ridge Rolling After Win, Rigby Looking to Bounce Back

The Canyon Ridge Riverhawks have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome the Rigby Trojans at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Canyon Ridge will be strutting in after a win, while Rigby will be coming in after a defeat.

Canyon Ridge will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Twin Falls on Thursday. The Riverhawks came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 4-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Canyon Ridge were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Rigby's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 3-0 to Thunder Ridge.

Rigby's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Canyon Ridge, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
