Baseball Recap: Waukegan Takes a Loss

Waukegan lost against Hoffman Estates back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Waukegan's record now sits at 1-21. As for Hoffman Estates, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-24.

Waukegan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hoffman Estates, they will challenge Libertyville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
