The Whitnall Falcons will square off against the Union Grove Broncos on Thursday. Whitnall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season.

Whitnall is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They took down Greenfield 53-38. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Hustlin' Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

Whitnall got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Koch out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taylor Pitta, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Union Grove had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.9 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They blew past the Demons 55-31. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Whitnall, their victory bumped their record up to 21-3.

Whitnall couldn't quite finish off Union Grove when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 52-50. Can Whitnall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
