Volleyball Recap: Karli Krumwiede Key Part of Team Effort in Cardinals Win

There's no place like home for Brodhead, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Big Foot Chiefs on Tuesday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Brodhead not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Big Foot between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Brodhead's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karli Krumwiede led the charge by getting five digs and four aces. Krumwiede has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. Taya Anderson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
