Sickles's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Leto Falcons get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. With that victory, the Gryphons brought their scoring average up to 7.9 runs per game.
Zoe Mello and Lauren Larsen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Mello tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Larsen struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those zero hits allowed gave Mello a new career-low. At the plate, Mello scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Larsen scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave Larsen a new career-high.

In other batting news, Kalyssa Austin was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Briana Browder, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Sickles always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
