Baseball Recap: Trinity Drops Highest Score of Season Against Frankston

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-5 to the Frankston Indians. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Canyen Hollis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Hollis also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Christian Vaughn was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Even though they lost, Trinity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Frankston, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Trinity Tigers face off against Teague Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frankston, they will take on Alto in a tournament on Saturday.
