Baseball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Austin lost against Tornillo back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Austin Panthers fell 7-3 to the Tornillo Coyotes.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Tornillo, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Austin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ysleta at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. Tornillo will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Cathedral at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
