Volleyball Recap: Escondido Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Escondido can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens on Wednesday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Escondido's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.

As of now, neither Escondido nor the Ravens have any future games scheduled.
