Soccer Recap: Appling County Comes Up Short at Home Against Wayne County

Appling County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Wayne County Yellow Jackets on Monday, falling 4-0. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

The win got Wayne County back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Appling County will face off against Vidalia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wayne County, they will host Appling County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
