Softball Recap: Slippery Rock Comes Up Short

Slippery Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-0 to the Jamestown Muskies. The Rockets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Muskies from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Slippery Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jamestown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slippery Rock will venture away from home to take on Conneaut Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jamestown, they will head out to face off against Grove City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
