After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Augustine, Palatka was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Baldwin Indians by a score of 33-26. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Palatka found their leader in underclassman Elysha Campbell Ii, who picked up two sacks and made four total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nashawn Jacobs, who rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 75 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kelvin Brown was another key receiver, picking up 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Palatka's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
