Basketball Recap: Johnson Skates Past Washington Tech with Ease

Johnson won the last time they faced Washington Tech and things went their way on Friday too. The Johnson Governors breezed by the Washington Tech Eagles to the tune of 92-53. Given the Governors' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Eagles are ranked 329th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Johnson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points over those games. As for Washington Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
