Football Game Preview: Fernandina Beach Pirates vs. Baldwin Indians

The Fernandina Beach Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Baldwin Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fernandina Beach can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. The game between them and Yulee didn't end well, with Fernandina Beach falling 26-7. The Pirates have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Baldwin got themselves on the board against Englewood on Thursday, but Englewood never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 21-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

The critical scores for Baldwin came from Leighley Cooper, Skylair Asberry, and Desirae Cotten.

Baldwin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ella Williams, Charlotte Minnon, and Halle Bennie picked up one apiece.
