Gregory Williams Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Homer's Gregory Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 171 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Homer's win bumped their record up to 2-5. Williams' next contest is against Magnolia School of Excellence on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Calvary Baptist Academy was led to victory by Luke Miller, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Miller made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
