Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Jamarion Grace and Keitaro (Kj) Davis Leads Vanden over Pleasant Valley

Vanden extended their postseason success on Saturday against Pleasant Valley. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over the Pleasant Valley Vikings. That's two games straight that Vanden has won by exactly 14 points.

It was another big night for Kalani Mcleod, who threw for 462 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. What's more, he also racked up 166.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September. Chris Clark also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Vanden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jamarion Grace and Keitaro (Kj) Davis.

Vanden's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Pleasant Valley, they moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Vanden will square off against Rio Hondo Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Rio Hondo Prep will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Vanden surely won't give up without a fight. Pleasant Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
