Des Moines Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They snuck past the Van Meter Bulldogs with a 63-58 victory. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Des Moines Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Van Meter, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
