Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Commerce Tigers

The Providence Christian Academy Storm and the Commerce Tigers will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence Christian Academy will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Saturday, Providence Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Elite Scholars Academy as they won 70-51. The Storm pushed the score to 59-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Royal Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Commerce unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 71-63 to Banks County.

Providence Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Commerce, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Everything came up roses for Providence Christian Academy against Commerce when the teams last played back in January of 2020, as the team secured a 71-38 victory.
