Volleyball Game Preview: Staunton River Golden Eagles vs. Bassett Bengals

Staunton River is 0-6 against Bassett since September of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Golden Eagles will take on the Bengals at 7:00 p.m. Staunton River is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Staunton River had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fleming on Thursday. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colonels.

Meanwhile, Bassett came up short against Magna Vista on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Bengals haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22.

Bassett's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Staunton River, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
