Volleyball Recap: Sheehan Comes Up Short

Sheehan lost against Cheshire on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Titans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2.

Sheehan took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 20-25, 25-15, 16-14.

Gabby Scotti was the offensive standout of the game as she had 13 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Sheehan's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cheshire, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Sheehan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Foran on the 24th. As for Cheshire, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Masuk at 6:00 p.m.
