Football Game Recap: Augusta vs. Abilene

Augusta took an ego-bruising defeat against McPherson last Friday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Augusta walked away with a 34-27 win over Abilene. The win was a breath of fresh air for Augusta as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory bumped Augusta's record up to 2-5. The loss dropped Abilene's record to 3-4.

Augusta will look to defend their home turf next week against El Dorado at 7:00 PM. Augusta will be strutting in after a win while El Dorado will be stumbling in from a defeat. Abilene will stay at home against Ulysses.
