            Football Recap: North Lincoln Knights vs. Newton-Conover Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            North Lincoln had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it five. They lost  42-22 to the Newton-Conover Red Devils. The Knights were down  35-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 When it comes to explaining why North Lincoln lost, don't look at  Landen Agee. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards and two  TDs on only 12 carries.  Bradyn Still also helped out as he racked up 121 rushing yards.
As for Newton-Conover,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 North Lincoln and 2-3 Bandys.
  Timothy Mehalic was the offensive standout of the  contest as he picked up 115 receiving yards and one  touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 60 yards.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lincoln will host Bandys  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Newton-Conover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunker Hill  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Red Devils will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.17  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
