Soccer Recap: American Christian Academy Takes a Loss

American Christian Academy managed to slip by Holy Spirit Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots lost 4-1 to the Saints on Saturday. American Christian Academy have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Presley Curry, which was the first she's scored this season.

American Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Christian Academy will take on Fultondale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Christian Academy will be up against Fultondale's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.05 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they will square off against Tuscaloosa Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
