Football Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Douglas's offense. They were outmatched by the Huron Tigers and fell 47-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Huron's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colt Culver, who threw for 217 yards and four TDs on only 16 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. The Tigers also got a significant boost from Landon Hulst, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 121 yards.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Huron, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
