It was a good run, but Livingston Collegiate Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Haynes Academy, falling 3-0. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to Haynes Academy from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-4, 25-3.

Haynes Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mckenna Bourg led the charge by getting eight kills, three digs, and two aces. Bourg is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Vaughn, who had four aces.

Livingston Collegiate Academy now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Haynes Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Livingston Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Young Audiences on the 15th. As for Haynes Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Cabrini will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
