Spotsylvania has not had much luck with James Monroe recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Spotsylvania lost, one person who can't be blamed is KELLY ROSS. Despite the final result, she scored five points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Spotsylvania's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for James Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
Spotsylvania will be playing in front of their home fans against Courtland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spotsylvania is facing Courtland at the right time seeing as Courtland is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for James Monroe, they will head out on the road to take on King George at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
