Baseball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Sandusky blew Brown City out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Brown City got their revenge. The Wolves fell just short of the Green Devils by a score of 9-7. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Green Devils earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

Daniel Tovar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Tyler Bush was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Brown City, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Sandusky will host Garber at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brown City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mayville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Green Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
