Baseball Recap: Indy Genesis HomeSchool Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northside Christian School last Tuesday, Indy Genesis HomeSchool came back down to earth. The Indy Genesis HomeSchool Indy Genesis fell just short of the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats by a score of 6-5 on Thursday.

Parker Althoff was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Althoff was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Brandon Harlow was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Irvington Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 4th. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, they will take on Stall at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
