Volleyball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waukesha North Northstars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Emma Resop paced Ripon's offense, picking up six kills. Resop got some help from Adele Minor and her 11 assists.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Waukesha North, they pushed their record up to 13-14 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Ripon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against River Valley on the 4th. As for Waukesha North, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 4th.
