Basketball Recap: Lovejoy Takes a Loss

Lovejoy played against Newnan and lost via forfeit.

Lovejoy has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Newnan, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Northgate the next time they take the court. Newnan will host Northgate at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Lovejoy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
