 It was a good run, but  Conway Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the El Dorado Wildcats by a score of  4-2. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Conway Springs has scored all season.
  Macie Hartman spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Conway Springs saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reece Johnson, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Conway Springs dropped their record down to 5-2 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for El Dorado, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record  this season.
 Conway Springs will be playing at home against Kingman on Thursday. El Dorado will take on Winfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
