The Holy Name Green Wave will venture away from home to square off against the Edgewood Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Holy Name saw some tournament action on Monday. They blew past West Branch 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Green Wave.
Holy Name not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Branch between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Holy Name can attribute much of their success to Avery Preisel, who had three digs and two aces, and Isabella Dinya, who had eight digs and three aces. Preisel has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Holy Name was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Edgewood was able to grind out a solid win over Salem on Monday, taking the game 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.
Holy Name's record is now 9-13. As for Edgewood, their record now sits at 20-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's match: Holy Name has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.5 aces per game.
