Volleyball Recap: Orange Gets the Win

Orange's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Apex Friendship Patriots. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Orange had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.

Orange now has a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange will challenge Riverside-Durham at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Apex Friendship, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Seaforth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
