Owyhee faced Capital in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Storm never let the Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Storm, who after 19 games remain undefeated this season.

McKenna Schab was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Madalynn Mahaffey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Owyhee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capital only posted an OBP of .222.

Owyhee pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 9.3 runs thus far. As for Capital, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Owyhee will take on Borah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.3 runs per game on average), something the Storm will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Capital, they will be playing at home against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
