Kelston Tarver had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. Those 178 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Zach Watts was another key back, rushing for 110 yards and two TDs on only ten carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Carver didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Steven Wright and DeMarcus O'Neal. Sinkfield also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Carver's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Thomson, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
