Baseball Recap: Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Las Vegas fell victim to Shadow Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Mustangs. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Las Vegas got a good showing from ETHAN SHULTZ, who pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits SHULTZ has allowed since back in March.

On the hitting side, Las Vegas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RIAN JAIME, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Las Vegas' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8. As for Shadow Ridge, their record is now 9-13.

While Las Vegas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
