Baseball Recap: DeSoto Dragons vs. Perryville Pirates
DeSoto fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Perryville on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 16, 2025, but that streak is no more.

Connor Heister was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits.
