Baseball Recap: Minerva Lions vs. Sandy Valley Cardinals
Minerva came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sandy Valley Cardinals, sneaking past 6-4. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Brendon Huth looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
