Football Game Preview: Central Hawks vs. Schley County Wildcats + How To Watch

Central is 1-6 against Schley County since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hawks will face off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Central has given up an average of 38 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Central was beaten by Taylor County 40-8.

Meanwhile, Schley County came up short against Taylor County last Friday and fell 36-23.

Central will have to contain Blake Weldon as he made an impact in Schley County's last game. He rushed for 54 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 129 yards on 16 of 26 attempts.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Schley County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.

Central was dealt a bruising 34-0 defeat at the hands of Schley County when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
