Preview: Westminster vs. Prairie View

The Westminster Wolves have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Prairie View Thunderhawks on Monday. Westminster is cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Prairie View is stumbling in off of four consecutive losses.

In a sloppy game that saw the teams combine for 48 turnovers, the Wolves took down Adams City 60-45 this past Thursday. Sophomore Marina Boltz (15 points) and junior Lauren Graves bonilla (13 points) were the top scorers for Westminster. This also makes it seven games in a row in which Graves bonilla has had at least three steals.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-31, which was the final score in Prairie View's tilt against Vista PEAK Prep this past Thursday. Prairie View was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 48-14.

Westminster's win brought them up to 14-7 while Prairie View's defeat pulled them down to 8-13. Westminster is 8-5 after wins this year, and Prairie View is 4-8 after losses.
