St. Maries lost against Kendrick back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Maries Lumberjacks fell just short of the Kendrick Tigers by a score of 52-50. The Lumberjacks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Maries' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Kendrick, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Maries will face off against Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kendrick, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kendrick Tigers duke it out with the Lapwai Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lapwai will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Kendrick surely won't give up without a fight.
