Volleyball Recap: Penn Kingsmen vs. Silver Creek Dragons
Penn was the 2-0 winner over Silver Creek when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kingsmen fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.
Emily Noto paced Penn's offense, picking up ten kills. Noto got some help from Montana Swartz and her 12 assists.
Silver Creek can attribute much of their success to Mia Ferrell, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs Ferrell has posted over her last six contests.
Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Silver Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.
Looking ahead, Penn will take on Elkhart at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against South Oldham on the 29th.
