Angoon extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They were beaten by the Hoonah Braves 55-25. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Hoonah, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Paige Woitte had another great game (as she tends to do), putting up 17 points and seven steals. She is becoming a predictor of Hoonah's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is undefeated (and 7-9 when she doesn't). Easton Ross was another key player, earning 11 points and three steals.

Angoon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hoonah, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-39 victory against Wrangell on the 13th.
