Clayton beats Legacy Academy for their third straight win

Recap: Clayton Yellowjackets vs. Legacy Academy Silverbacks
On Friday, The Clayton Yellowjackets faced the Legacy Academy Silverbacks in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Clayton skirted past Legacy Academy 28-26. The victory was familiar territory for Clayton who now have three in a row.
Lorenzo Sedillo-Urban and James Akins certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Sedillo-Urban threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Akins rushed for 155 yards.
Clayton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Legacy Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
Clayton will head out on the road to face off against Mesilla Valley Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mesilla Valley Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Clayton likes a good challenge. Legacy Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
