Softball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. Grand Junction Central Warriors
After losing to Grand Junction Central the last time they met, Discovery Canyon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Thunder skirted past the Warriors 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunder have posted since October 5, 2024.
Ryan McCann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and six unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.
