Glastonbury faced Farmington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Guardians narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the River Hawks 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Guardians have posted since May 2nd.

Glastonbury is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Farmington, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Glastonbury is taking a road trip to square off against Conard at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Wolves will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Guardians surely won't give up without a fight.
