There's no place like home for Lordstown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mathews Mustangs on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in August.

Joey Rose and Ganon Force scored all three of Lordstown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Lordstown's win bumped their record up to 6-8-3. As for Mathews, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-1.

Coming up, Lordstown will venture away from home to face off against Oberlin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mathews, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-3 draw against Heartland Christian on the 9th.
