Soccer Recap: Quantico Comes Up Short

Quantico was the 2-0 winner over Fredericksburg Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Quantico fell just short of Fredericksburg Academy by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Quantico have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Kallie Williams, which was the first she's scored this season.

Quantico now has a losing record of 1-2. Fredericksburg Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Quantico and Fredericksburg Academy will both be playing King Abdullah Academy the next time they take the pitch. Quantico will head out to face King Abdullah Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Fredericksburg Academy will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
