Basketball Recap: School of the Arts Beats Early College for Their Third Straight Victory

School of the Arts had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Early College Sharks 39-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-26 back in December of 2024.

School of the Arts is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Early College, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. School of the Arts will venture away from home to challenge Livonia at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Early College, they will take on Rochester Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
