Brogan Gross Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Athens had to settle for second even though Brogan Gross put up the best numbers he has all season. Gross threw for 262 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 70 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Muscle Shoals had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Gross it was a similar story. Gross threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown on only six carries the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in September of 2023.

The game was his eighth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.

For the year, Oliver has averaged 10.7 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 4.86 total tackles per game.
